To be a licensed Electrician, you will be required to hold this qualification. An electrical licence is required before any electrical wiring work can be undertaken in NSW, regardless of the cost of the work and regardless of whether the work is residential, commercial or industrial. There are no prerequisite units in this qualification.
Students can obtain this qualification by either:
- Blended (classroom and Online)-Enrolment is open For January 2020 Course.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The RPL process can be completed as quickly as the student supplies all of the required evidences and accommodates the complete process. We allow 6 months for this process, however most students will complete this within 1 month.
- Be at least 15 years of age
- Have a valid USI
- Construction Induction White Card
- Photo ID
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ experience within electrical (if RPL)
There is currently no funding available for this course. The fees for this program are $9750.
Apprenticeship Government funding is available for this course
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be issued with a UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician. If the students do not complete the program, they will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the units they have completed.
