CPC31411 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing

This qualification provides a trade outcome in waterproofing for the residential and commercial construction industry as a licensed Waterproofer. There are no prerequisite units in this qualification. All students will be required to provide the following prior to being enrolled:

  • Construction Induction White Card
  • Photo ID
Entry Requirements

Students must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ experience within waterproofing (if RPL)
  • Have a valid USI
Course Requirements

To achieve the Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing, the student must demonstrate competency in the following 19 units of competency:

  • CPCCCM1012A - Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
  • CPCCCM1013A - Plan and organise work
  • CPCCCM1014A - Conduct workplace communication
  • CPCCCM1015A - Carry out measurements and calculations
  • CPCCCM2001A - Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • CPCCOHS2001A - Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
  • CPCCWP2001A - Handle waterproofing materials
  • CPCCWP2002A - Use waterproofing tools and equipment
  • CPCCWP2003A - Prepare for construction waterproofing process
  • CPCCWP2004A - Prepare surfaces for waterproofing application
  • CPCCWP3001A - Apply waterproofing process to below ground level wet areas
  • CPCCWP3002A - Apply waterproofing process to internal wet areas
  • CPCCWP3003A - Apply waterproofing process to external wet areas
  • CPCCWP3004A - Apply waterproofing remedial processes
  • CPCCCM2009A - Carry out basic demolition
  • CPCCCM2006B - Apply basic levelling procedures
  • CPCCSH2003A - Apply and install sealant and sealant devices
  • BSBPMG411 - Apply project quality management techniques
  • BSBSMB406 - Manage small business finances
Delivery Methods

Students can obtain this qualification by either:

  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Duration

The RPL process can be completed as quickly as the student supplies all of the required evidences and accommodates the complete process. We allow 6 months for this process, however most students will complete this within 1 month.

Fees and Funding

There is currently no funding available for this course. The fees for this program are $2950.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be issued with a CPC31411 Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing. If the students do not complete the program, they will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the units they have completed.
